Michelle has a beautiful and brilliant imaginary writing style that captures your utmost attention. There are some really tough moments to read in this story but you recover and see how those scenes are important to paint a clear and vivid picture of the realities of the farm brutality in South Africa.
Blane Buchan is the hero you love to hate, whilst the heroine Sadie Monroe, is such a beautiful and courageous character. We follow her journey from the farms of South Africa to the Highlands of Scotland. Her resilience is inspiring, her story heartbreaking.
Epona is raw and unapologetic, Intense and emotional. A tale of loss and love that will stay with you long after you have finished the story.
I look forward to reading Vala when it comes out.
